The Best of Boats Award was established in 2014 by boat journalists from various countries and editorial offices who have two things in common: expertise as boat testers and a keen interest in the practical needs of boaters.
The award is the largest annual award for motorboats in Europe. The BOB Award is the only motorboat award worldwide that is at home in all major European water sports regions.
The Best of Boats Award focuses on the boaters' perspective. All categories are defined by real use cases and correspond to the target groups, not boat lengths or marketing bling.
