Best of Boats Award

The Best of Boats Award stands for a passion for life on the water and for boats that impress water sports enthusiasts in everyday use. The focus is not only on technical specifications or innovative designs, but above all on the experiences of real boat testers. The award honors concepts that uniquely combine comfort, safety, driving pleasure, and innovation. This provides an authentic look at the most exciting new products and the trends shaping the future of water sports.

The award was launched in 2014 by boating journalists from various countries and publications who share two things in common: expertise as boat testers and a special interest in the practical needs of boaters. All categories are defined by real-world use cases and are tailored to the target audiences, not to boat lengths or marketing gimmicks.

It is the largest annual award for motorboats in Europe. As the only motorboat award worldwide, the BOB Award is at home in all major European water sports regions.
